Syt B. K. Birla (92) has been on the Company's Board since 1936. He ranks amongst the country's top most industrialists and is well known for his dynamism, enterprise and leadership. The Chairman of the Boards of Century Textiles & Industries Ltd., Jay Shree Tea & Industries Ltd., Century Enka Ltd., Shri Birla is also on the Board of Pilani Investment & Industries Ltd. In addition, Shri Birla is also associated with various Charitable Trusts and Educational Institutions. |

Shri P. K. Mallik (82) is a past President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a former Sheriff of Kolkata. A commerce graduate and a qualified Chartered Accountant from India as well as Scotland, Shri Mallik is a former senior partner of Price Waterhouse, Chartered Accountants. He has more than six decades of experience in finance, accounting, auditing and business management. He is a Director of Peerless Financial Services Ltd., International Combustion (India) Ltd., CHNHB Association, Kolkata, NRC Ltd. and Rupantar Investment Pvt. Ltd. Smt. Manjushree Khaitan (57) is a Post Graduate in English Literature. She has attended Executive Development Programmes at the London Business School, U.K. and IMD, Switzerland. She is the Chairperson of Manjushree Plantations Limited and is a Member of its Shareholders'/Investors' Grievance Committee and Remuneration Committee. She has been associated with plantations and various manufacturing units for over two decades. She is a Member of the Board of Governors of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani ("BITS"). She is also closely associated with several Educational and Cultural Trusts, including the Birla Education Trust of which she is a Trustee.
