The Board has approved further expansion of capacity to produce Truck / Bus Radial tyres by 85 MT/day at Haridwar and for Passenger Car Radial tyres of 80 MT/day at Balasore involving capital outlay of Rs. 350 Crore and Rs. 450 Crore respectively. The civil construction for the above expansions is in full swing and orders for the major machineries and equipments have already been placed.
